Coffee House
Before the Internet and cell phones, before e-books and blogs, before pop tarts, Cliff bars and thirteen million variations of energy drink, there was coffee. There was coffee and newspapers and homemade pastry. And a combination of the three was a darn good way to start the day. Now, that's not to say that a surf on the web, checking headlines and email, Bluetooth and instant cellular contact, espresso, lattes, and fresh pastry out of the oven aren't as well-- they are. That's what you'll find at Newsies Coffee House. It's a fine blend between old and new, newspapers, Internet, great coffee and pastry, right out of the oven. Authentic NY Style Bagels!
Our Authentic New York style bagels are unique in the bagel world - boiled and baked on a stone hearth. Try them toasted with smoked salmon or veggie cream cheese, or have a Ba-Egg-El, with cheese and bacon on a multigrain. Or how about a toasted tuna and cheese melt on an onion bagel? Conversely, why not try scrambled egg with jam on a blueberry bagel? (There really is no wrong way to go about this.)
